Seattle-based architects Johnathan Junker and Seth Grizzles of Graypants like to make all kinds of things (they also like to wear gray pants). They especially like re-purposing, as in this elegantly designed DIY dog house made from found objects.
This one was auctioned off for the annual Bark in the Park benefit to help aid mistreated animals. But if you have some lumber and an extra road sign handy, you can make one for your eco-conscious dog. You have the whole weekend to tinker. Go for it!
Ingredients: old windows behind the garage / basement scraps of wood / leftover cedar siding / one generous souvenir left by the road crew
