May Lattanzio's pups patiently wait for their dinner. Blade had to be put to sleep shortly after this was taken because he suddenly came down with osteosarcoma. Sophie and he developed a unique father/daughter relationship. He weighed 145 lbs. She was even smaller than what you see when she arrived; the runt of the litter.

"He is a goofy fun loving Maltese. We rescued him at 4 months from Pet Orphans in Van Nuys. After being shipped out from a puppy mill in Atlanta, his owner dumped him at the pound after only a few short weeks. When we found him, he kept getting passed up because he had a giant cone around his head after his neutering. He only weighed about four pounds and could barely walk with that thing on him.
