Bo Stars In POTUS Pool Report

President Obama and the First Fluff went to the back of Air Force One yesterday to visit with the press. 

From the White House Pool report by the Washington Post's Anne E. Kornblut: 

Bo, the presidential dog, led the way, running down the aisle past a throng of cooing reporters. Obama followed him, smiling and watching as the dog surveyed the accommodations. He cracked the old joke about needing a dog in Washington - since there's no such thing as a real friend.

Someone told him that Bo had been spotted at the airport interacting with his bomb-sniffing relatives. "I didn't want him getting into it with the Secret Service. I've seen them training," Obama said.

How Much is that Doggie in the (White House)?

We wall know that the First Fluff Bo was given as a gift from the late Sen. Ted Kennedy and his wife Vickie. 

In fact, they adopted Bo's brother, Cappy, before giving Bo to the Obama family.

On new financial disclosure forms filed by the Obamas report that Bo was a gift valued at $1600.

Apparently, Bo's "I {Heart} OBAMA" is so last summer.

He has traded up to a patriotic (and more humble) leash.

Dear Readers,

Bo is now a star.  He has massive press coverage throughout the world.  So, I have decided to wrap up my coverage of him here on The Obama Dog Blog.  I do this with mixed feelings, because I can see that he is going to fun to cover as he grows and exerts even more of his rambunctious personality on the First Family.  And because I have fallen in love with this sweet boy.  But my other blog, Dog Art Today, is growing and I cannot faithfully keep up with an active puppy too.  I also want to get back to making art.  Thank you for your comments, your tips, and your readership.  It has been an honor archiving the anticipation, the intrigue, and the arrival of Bo Obama.  Thank you for following my blog.
